It was a mild, nice morning today. Then the principal came to tell me that Mrs. Kennedy was sick and could I cover for her.
a game we played in PE, sang the national anthem (in Irish), read and memorized the "water cycle" poem, did math and English (speech markers were the bumpiest bit), had a presentation by Surbhi about her time in India w/ her family (wedding included!) and the inevitable Q-A session we all were excited to have. By the end of the day my thoughts were: "I've practiced enough, I'll go home now, thanks." I'm not sure what it is, this teacher here is still working on a way that will best work for her to keep order and feel alright about it. Anyway, i survived and once classes were over, went for a good, long WALK on a perfect weather day (no wind!) and forever green gardens to admire. Spring has sprung! -or it's getting there. The bitter cold is gone (fingers crossed it stays that way), there are daffodils, baby lambs, longer evenings, and flowers on trees.
Thoughts now: "I think I'm ready for more learning. I DO really enjoy those girls anyway."
Ireland huh? Sounds awesome.
