I always am a bit of a mess cooking for the first time in someone elses kitchen. This time was no different. In fact, making tortilla can create so much smoke that I am grateful for the Mcgrath sense of humor - they're just the best- and for a not-too-noisy fire alarm. We have now learnt to keep the window wide open and the door shut before we even start!
Somehow we managed it. It was quite some fun and the best was everyone seemed to love the tortilla española (proof is we've had to make it twice and Jack and Sarah, in the pictures, keep asking if we're going to do one again). So, we're now two little proud Spanish-tortilla-cookers. We definitely enjoyed our little tortilla feast but thought Patricia was a genius when she used the extra panecitos for some really yummy pizza-paninis.
